Dear Meliassa,

Thank you for using ezPaycheck payroll software.

- If he is a W2 employee and does not need to pay taxes, you can just uncheck all the tax option boxes when you set up this employee.

- If he is a 1099 contractor, you can duplicate a new account to handle his paychecks. So you will not include him in your W2 W3 reports.

How to handle both 1099 contractors and W-2 employees

How do I handle a new employee claiming tax exempt status? Do I just uncheck all the boxes?
