Hi ,

Yea! I figured out the problem. My BitDefender Antivirus software suddenly took a dislike to ezCheckPersonal and was blocking it. I unblocked it and ezCheckPersonal is working fine now. I guess my only question now is whether it is worth upgrading to version 4. I couldn’t find any comparison of the two versions.

Many thanks for your help,

Bruce
I spoke with programs about your software issue. They also think some settings might have been changed on your computer. However, we are not sure before we see your computer. Here are two options:

1. If you have another computer, you can transfer ezCheckPersonal to a new computer by following this guide
http://www.halfpricesoft...-check-software-move.asp

You can download version 3 from this link
http://www.halfpricesoft...load.asp#ezCheckPrinting

If the version 3 still work for you, you do not have to purchase the new version.

2. We offer remote access support via TeamViewer. We charge $25 per 15 minutes if you prefer this service.

I have a couple of questions. My desktop is a PC and my other computer is a MacBook Pro…

1) I see that the Mac version if ezCheckPersonal is older than the newer 4.0 version on the PC. In what ways is the new PC version better than the Mac and the version 3 on the PC?
2) If I switch to the version 4 will I have to purchase it AND pay the $25 support fee?
3) If I switch to the Mac version (purchase it) can I bring my ezCheckPersonal folder over from the PC and use the account files contained in that folder? That way I would not have to re-lay-out the checks for each of the accounts.

I’m confused about which way to proceed. If I know that you could get version 3 on the PC working, I think that may be the best path…

Best,
Bruce
