My remote deposit system will not accept checks that have the asterisks in the dollar amount area. How can I remove them? I have tried just spacing before and after dollar amount, no help there.


I’ve searched your help area but found only information on how to add asterisks.

I think you are using ezCheckDraft software now, correct? It is the standard format to add asterisks before dollar amount. That is for check safety purpose. Are you in US? Can we know which system cannot accept it?


If you are uploading the bank draft to your bank now, please contact your bank to make sure your account can accept checks without payer signature. If you just have a normal business account, some banks may not allow you to upload the image of bank draft, cashier check, money order. You need to deposit such checks in bank yourself.
