I need to file a 2020 1095-B form – I don’t think I should download the 2021 application to do so – please advise.

IRS ACA Testing site accepts 2021 efiling schema only. You have to use ez1095 2021 version for testing now.

If you do not want to purchase ez1095 2021 version, you can wait for about one month. We will update ez1095 2015 to 2020 with 2021 schema after IRS update ACA production site schema in Dec. Then you can pay the update fee only to get Year 2021 schema for your ez1095 2020 version.
