All I wanted to do is print customize my check layout style in quickbooks to print on blank check stock that has the check in the middle.
I don’t want another software to have to use or import to… I simply want to say print check to the blank stock.

Can I use the virtual Printer only to print QuickBooks checks?

ezCheckPrinting QuickBooks version includes both ezCheckPrinting and virtual Printer. Both ezCheckPrinting and virtual printer are required to print QuickBooks checks on blank stock. Check the Quick Start Guide here

- The account information will be saved inside ezCheckPrinting software. You can also customize the check layout and select check-in-middle format there.

- When you print check from QB through Virtual Printer, Virtual Printer will send check data to ezCheckPrinting (QuickBooks check data to printer will not include account data. That is why pre-printed check with micr line is required by QB if you do not use virtual printer).

- ezCheckPrinting software will combine account data saved inside it and check data sent from virtual printer. So you can print check on blank stock.
